Performs responsible and skilled inspection of plumbing installations and heating installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with City ordinances or Michigan Mechanical Code. Discusses questions and problems with homeowners, business owners, contractors and other interested parties. Writes ordinance violation notices when necessary and proceeds with court action procedures if violations are not corrected.
