Description
Northfield Township is seeking a new director at our Senior/Community Center. The Community Services Director plans, directs, manages and oversees the activities and operations of the Community Services Department including special events, Senior/Community Center programming for all ages and demographics, attendance at Parks & Recreation Board meetings, facilities planning, maintenance and operations. The Director will coordinate with other departments and outside agencies to deliver innovative, consistent and high-quality programs, customer service, community engagement and resource management to fulfill Township needs.

Requirements
Must have strong organization skills and attention to detail. Should also possess a high level of integrity, ability to use a computer and learn new computer programs, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in business administration, public administration, parks and recreation management, or a closely related field.
At least four years’ experience in planning activities and community programming for a wide range of populations. Experience in a park’s environment, municipal setting, or program coordination is encouraged.
